THE NATURE OF GOD EIGHT: KIND
God is the kindest person to
have ever existed, “For He is kind to the unthankful and evil”, and we were all
unthankful and evil when we were meandering outside God’s covenant of Grace.
God’s kindness is goodness in action, sweetness of disposition, gentleness in
dealing with His children... benevolent affability. God takes thought for the needs and wishes of
His children, in loving-kindness always ready to help. His desire to act for
our welfare is not affected when our attitude and actions tax His patience.
God’s kindness is great, merciful, tenderhearted, and everlasting... He does
not change. That He is slow to anger and abounding in Grace is, no doubt, the
greatest kindness of all, for we deserve Nothing... we deserve Hell! Kindness
is a disposition of God that pervades His whole nature, demonstrating the
riches of His Grace to His children. His kindness toward us is unbounded...
unending... unswerving: Infinitely limitless, never ending, and immovably spot
on! “Praise the Lord, all you
Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! For His merciful kindness
is great toward us, And the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord”!
AS WE BEHOLD HIM...
WE BECOME LIKE HIM...
